Before joining the staff at Alliance Church in 2012, Mark Tegtmeier worked as a professional counselor in various clinical settings. He has a master's degree in counseling psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is ordained through the CMA.  

His extensive therapeutic experience along with his deep love for the Lord and compassion for people are evident in his ministry. Mark oversees various care ministries at Alliance that provide individual, family, and group support for those facing physical, emotional, spiritual, or relational difficulties.  

Mark and his wife, Mary Beth, have been married for over forty years. They have five wonderful children (four who are married) and nine precious grandchildren. In his free time, Mark enjoys long-distance running, biking, and other outdoor activities with his family.
