Jenessa was born and raised in Appleton, WI, and has attended Appleton Alliance Church for as long as she can remember. She earned her degree in Middle Childhood - Early Adolescence Education degree from St. Norbert College with a minor in mathematics. Jenessa taught in the public schools for five years and began volunteering in the Special Needs Ministry at AAC. In 2019, she resigned from teaching at the end of the school year to find a part-time career, as she anticipated the birth of her first child. That's when God opened the door to the Special Needs Ministry Assistant position! Since joining the team in July of 2019, Jenessa has been overjoyed serving families of children and teens with special needs in the Appleton Alliance Church community. 

When she is not at Appleton Alliance you can find Jenessa drinking coffee with her husband, chasing around her son, playing with her nieces and nephews, being outside, or just relaxing with family and friends.
