Learn what God has been doing through our short-term mission trip teams this year!

Men’s Guinea Trip (March)

A team of seven men from Alliance Church traveled to Guinea in West Africa this past spring and worked with four missionary families there to begin renovation work on a Christian & Missionary Alliance compound. Nearly 100 years old, the compound makes rest homes available for missionaries serving in West Africa, including those who work with the Fulani, an unreached people group Alliance Church has adopted.

Though the 8-hour road trip from their landing city involved dangerous road travel, God delivered the men safely to their work site. There they spent five long days replacing ceilings, replumbing, and rewiring solar panels, then connecting with local missionaries around the campfire in the evenings. The team left feeling they had accomplished good work and grown closer with Jesus, each other, and the missionary families on the trip.

Women’s Peru Trip (May)

Four leaders in Alliance Women’s ministry were sent to participate in the Women’s Conference at Cono Norte Callao (CNC), our sister church in Lima, Peru. The women spoke and shared their testimonies at the conference and spent time in conversation with the CNC ministry leaders. The women also met with children living in poverty through the Corazones Felices (Happy Hearts) ministry and brought food and prayer to their families, witnessing several mothers come to Christ through the outreach.

As the first Alliance team to visit CNC since 2019, the women’s presence within the church renewed and strengthened the sister partnership. Despite the hot climate and full days, the women saw God working powerfully through their time in Peru.

Alliance World Fellowship Toulouse Trip (June)

The French C&MA welcomed a multigenerational team of eight adults from Alliance Church to their conference in Toulouse, which hosted over 150 people from all over the world and focused on reaching Europe and the Middle East with the Gospel. The team of eight spent their days making airport runs, coordinating the conference’s meals, and setting up and running the technology for use during the event.

While they were busy from early morning to late at night with grocery shopping and problem-solving, the team also had opportunities to speak with the Alliance National Church leaders from countries all around the world coming together to collaborate and forming new connections and potential partnerships. God provided them with the strength, flexibility, and networking moments that made the conference week a successful trip.

Want to experience God at work in the world firsthand?

Global Connections at Alliance Church sends several teams on short-term mission trips throughout each year, with the goal of giving participants an opportunity to see what God is doing in another location, to meet the missionaries or pastors working in that location, and to assist them in a way that is helpful to them and their ministry.
