Pastor Paul brings a passion for authentic relationships, active faith, and personal transformation to his role as Location Pastor at Alliance Church - Appleton. With over 20 years of experience in pastoral ministry, Paul is dedicated to helping people understand that God is as close as the Holy Spirit dwelling within them. He knows that walking closely with God leads to an adventure the world can't fully grasp.

Paul's journey with Alliance Church spans many years. He previously served as our Student Ministry Pastor (2016-2021) and Adult Ministry Pastor (2023-2025). Even before that, he attended our church as a high school student, which helped shape his path toward pastoral ministry. Paul holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from UW-Eau Claire and a master's degree in Transformational Leadership from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN. His diverse experience also includes serving as a missionary to refugee youth in Clarkston, GA, alongside his family. We are incredibly fortunate to have a pastor with such a rich background in pastoral, missionary, and non-profit ministry.

Paul lives out his adventure with Jesus alongside his wife, Nicki, and their three teenage children, Ava, Abby, and Ethan. He enjoys slow Saturdays with a puzzle, good conversation, and a cup of earl grey tea. You might also find him cheering on the Packers at his local sports bar or traveling to explore new and familiar places.
