Before joining the Alliance staff, Danen spent nearly 20 years as a full-time independent singer-songwriter. He led worship at over 100 churches and ministries, released eight full-length studio albums, and played over 3000 shows worldwide. He discovered his musical calling after picking up guitar and singing for the first time during college at UW-Oshkosh, where he earned his degrees in speech communication and business marketing.

Danen's passion for music flows from its power to reach people with God's love. As Alliance's central Worship Director, his goal is to help as many people connect with the heart of Jesus as he can.

Danen grew up in Denmark, WI and moved to Appleton in 2007. During his free time, he loves hiking, playing or watching sports, and learning anything he can about health and wellness.
