How do you read the Bible when two verses seem to contradict each other? The Trinity, three persons and one God. And the theandric union, the doctrine that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human at the same time. He anchors this in Colossians 2:9, John 1:1 and 14, Luke 2, and Philippians 2, then lands with a story that will stop you cold. A former professor of his, in the middle of confessing a habitual sin, discovered that Christ did not just die to forgive him. Christ also sent his Spirit through Romans 8 to give him the power to actually walk free.
