Young Leaders. Bold Steps. Global Impact.
Have you met our interns? We are excited to introduce you to some accomplished young adults who are following God’s lead into a missions-related internship. In fact, three of them are continuing in an internship path that was begun last summer.
Sami Miller is back in Mexico City with Reach Global and this year in a new role as the student leader for the team of college interns. Her goals include learning how to balance leading, discipling, and equipping future leaders while also continuing to deepen relationships that began last year and growing in boldness to share the Gospel. She continues to work on her Spanish language skills and hopes to work full-time on the mission field in a Spanish-speaking country after graduation.

Alayna Ott is an Alliance Envision Intern working with Rob & Heidi Scott in Prishtina, Kosovo where they build relationships in their community through teaching English, art classes, and teen conversation groups. After completing a nine-month internship, Alayna has decided to continue for another nine months beginning in September 2025. She has found that she loves teaching English as a second language and has developed some strong connections with the teens in Kosovo.

Grace successfully completed a summer 2024 internship with the Jesus Film in Thailand and recently accepted a full-time internship with the Jesus Film group. For the next twelve months beginning in August, she will be traveling globally as part of the recording expansion team. Their goal is to leave each country with a copy of the Jesus Film in the local spoken language. Grace first learned about the mission field in the Mission Tree House in Discovery Land at Alliance Church as a child. She is excited to use her creativity and knowledge of media to spread the good news of Jesus.

Taylor Everts has spent the last six months preparing to go to an Alliance Envision site in a creative access country. Her internship will begin in September and continue through February of 2026. She is excited to learn about and participate in their At-Risk Women ministry, for women who are coming out of human trafficking situations. She is also excited to work with their Organic Farming program working alongside farmers in their region. Taylor wants to be a lifelong evangelist for the Kingdom of God and through this international internship hopes to learn where her strengths, weaknesses, and gifts can be most useful in ministry.

Isabella Tabbert will be participating in a nine-month internship with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). After she completes the discipleship training in Hawaii, she will be assigned to an international YWAM location for the outreach phase. Throughout this internship, Bella hopes to gain hands-on experience in the mission field and grow her biblical knowledge. She is looking forward to experiencing a new culture firsthand, working alongside locals, and sharing the gospel with people from other nations. During her high school years, Bella participated in two Alliance Church student mission trips to Atlanta, GA, and Los Angeles, CA.

Kiersten Berry is one of the three returning interns. After spending the summer of 2024 in New Zealand with CRU, Kiersten is doing a domestic internship this summer through ACMNP (A Christian Ministry in the National Parks). Her team provides Sunday services, weekly Bible studies, and Christian fellowship for park employees and park visitors at the Teddy Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. Two highlights from June include growing attendance at the Sunday services and fruitful conversations at the weekly Bible studies.
