The DL Awana Verse-A-Thon project is a way for students to put their faith into action and use the verses they've memorized this year to have an eternal impact around the world! Students who participate will find sponsors to donate based on the number of verses the student has memorized this school year. Donations will make it possible to train additional DL/Awana leaders, and provide high-quality teaching materials for new churches and schools launching the DL Awana program in Africa.

To participate, pick up a Verse-A-Thon packet in Discovery Land and follow these quick steps:

1. Count the verses you/your student have memorized this school year. Don't forget about the DL Top 12!
2. Ask for cash, check or online donations based on the number of verse you memorized. (Ex- 20 verses, could mean a $20 donation.)*
3. Turn in donations by Tuesday, February 24th!

*Parents who registered a student for Awana will automatically receive a link to a personalized donation page through Pledgebrite, an online fundraising software. Additional participants can be added by emailing [email protected]. Three donation invitation slips are provided in each Verse-A-Thon packet. Additional invitations are available in the DL check-in area.
