Each year, for students 6 weeks-completed 5th grade, we introduce a fun summer theme to our regular Sunday morning Curriculum. When it comes to the summer schedule, there’s no pressure to attend every Sunday—we know summers can be busy! Our goal is simply to give your family a place to jump in and participate whenever you’re able.

THIS YEAR’S THEME ... ROAD TRIP 2026!

As we journey through Old Testament narratives, kids will discover that God is always with His people, guiding their steps and giving them strength through every twist and turn. Through the lives of Naaman, Jonah, Hezekiah, Daniel, Esther, and others, kids will learn that while life may include unexpected detours and challenges, God remains faithful.

Rooted in Joshua 1:9, this theme challenges kids to be strong and courageous, trust God’s presence, and commit to “going the distance” with faith and perseverance.

This summer, you’ll see Discovery Land transformed into a road trip adventure—complete with maps, mile markers, detour signs, and plenty of fun along the way. It’s all designed to help kids experience the joy of trusting God’s plan and “going the distance” in their faith.
